Abad, Pacita (b. the Phillipines, 1946 - Singapore, 2004)

She graduated from political science studies at the University of the Philippines in 1967 and attended law school for one year. In 1975, she studied painting at the Corcoran School of Art in Washington DC and continues at the The Art Students League in New York. Pacita traveled extensively to more than 80 countries. She has held 40 solo exhibitions at museums and galleries in the United States, Latin America, Europe, Africa and Asia.
