Tuason, Scott (b. 1953, Australia)

Scott's photographic work involves mostly large-scale shots of aquatic lifeforms with strong emphasis detailing unique shapes, colors, and patterns of organisms that can only be found in the sea.

In the 2013 calendar series, we featured a retrospective of Scott's never-seen-before artworks. The artworks are distinctly unique and range from hard coral detail to jellyfish taken at a close shot.

Scott drills down deep into the heart of his subjects, infusing his work with a burst of color, swaying patterns, cluster of shapes. The proximity of his art pieces sought to imbue audiences with a tinge of calmness and a sense of musicality.

The result is a series of brilliant images depicting the elusive beauty of aquatic lifeform.
