Yunizar (b. Talawi, Indonesia, 1971)

Yunizar studied in the Indonesia Art Institute (ISI), Yogyakarta and graduated in 1993. He is considered by many art collectors as one of the bright artist from the Jendela Group.

 

He has exhibited his works since 1995, mostly in Yogyakarta, Bali, Bandung and Jakarta. He also participated in international exhibitions such as in Brunei (1997), Singapore (2001) and Hong Kong (2002). His work embodies the beauty and purity of human creativity, a work that is pure and crude spontaneously from what appears as his unconscious mind.
